Beginning in June 2025, the City of Fort Worth will begin clearing vegetation within the project area between Rosedale Springs Lane and Cameron Hill Point to prepare for construction of the Everman Parkway Extension project.
Site Clearing involves :
- Removing trees, grass, shrubs, etc.
- Clearing debris,
- Topsoil stripping, and
- Non-evasive land grading to create a smooth and even
surface to create a safe and stable foundation for the
new roadway.
During site clearing, residents can expect to see construction crews and equipment (such as excavators, mowers, and woodchippers) in the area. Our crews will be operating during daytime hours, Monday through Friday, with some Saturday work. While the work will generate some noise and dust, crews will implement measures to minimize these impacts to the extent possible such as watering down exposed soil and dusty areas within the construction zone in an effort to suppress dust and prevent it from becoming airborne. No road closures are anticipated. Should you have immediate questions or concerns regarding construction, please contact the project team via the project hotline or by email.
